We had great fun before half-term evaluating Chinese food and creating our own Spring rolls. We used a variety of techniques: the bridge and claw cutting techniques, peeling, grating, combining flavours and constructing the spring rolls. Then we enjoyed eating them and evaluating the final product.
We’ve had an exciting day in Y4 learning about David Hockney, a leading British artist. We’ve used a range of techniques, including visual literacy, analysis, sketching, colour mixing and painting. Here we are creating our own Hockney inspired piece of art. You never know, one of these budding artists may be the next Hockney!
